Cintas Donates Over $300,000 in Aid to Haitian Earthquake Victims

Cintas Corporation has partnered with Cincinnati-based Matthew
25: Ministries to provide essential humanitarian aid to the victims
of the recent earthquake in Haiti. On Friday, January 15th, Matthew
25: Ministries picked up the first of over 43,000 garments, nearly
half of which are medical scrubs. The total value of the donation
exceeds $330,000.
“Cintas is committed to being a good corporate citizen and is
proud of the partnership we have had with Matthew 25: Ministries
for more than a decade,” said Scott Farmer, Chief Executive
Officer. “The people of Haiti have suffered immeasurable loss and
we are pleased to do our part to help them overcome this tragedy,”
he added.
The garments were transported from Cintas Corporation’s Chicago
Distribution Center to Matthew 25: Ministries’ Processing Center
located in Blue Ash, OH. It will then be sorted, repackaged and
shipped with other essential humanitarian aid to Haiti.
Cintas Corporation’s relief efforts are ongoing and the company
is continuing to work with Matthew 25: Ministries on donations of
additional Cintas products, including latex gloves, first aid
supplies, hand sanitizer and masks. In addition, Cintas
employee-partners are engaged in additional relief drives at each
of the company’s 350 locations throughout North America, all of
which will be shipped directly to Matthew 25: Ministries.
