INTEGRIS Southwest Joins INTEGRIS Baptist Medical Center in Adopting the SurgiCount Medical System to Prevent Retained Sponges After Surgery SurgiCount Medical, a wholly owned subsidiary of Patient Safety Technologies, Inc. (AMEX:PST), announced today that it has entered into a three-year agreement to provide its patented Safety-Sponge(TM) System for the prevention of retained sponges after surgery to INTEGRIS Southwest Medical Center, a member of Oklahoma's largest not-for-profit health care organization. SurgiCount has received an initial purchase order from INTEGRIS Southwest for all of the operating rooms at this facility. Financial terms were not disclosed.
