LONDON--Ireland-focused metals miner Connemara Mining Co. PLC (CON.LN) reported Tuesday a narrower full-year loss as it continues to work on its gold projects in Ireland, including the drill results for its Donegal project in the third quarter.

The company reported a net loss of EUR202,961 ($224,718) for the year ended Dec. 31 compared with EUR308,292 the year, helped by to lower administrative expenses.

The company is currently focused on completing the drilling results for Ireland's Donegal gold project and then expects work to begin on its Wicklow, Wexford block of gold licences.

The company has 35 gold and zinc licences in Ireland and has joint ventures with Teck Resources Ltd. (TCK.A.T) of Canada on most of its zinc licences and with Hendrick of Canada on its Wicklow/Wexford gold licences.
