Global Holdings, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: GOHG) (OTCQB: GOHG), a leader in
coaching successful technological businesses, is proud to announce
that it has signed an agreement with Aufbau Labs to develop clean
air technology. The technology aims to reduce atmospheric smog or
particulates suspended in low atmosphere stemming from airborne
industrialization waste products and gases thereby reducing global
warming, acid rain and NOx contamination. This technological
process captures and removes particulates such as carbonates,
nitrates, phosphates, sulphates and sulphites from local
atmospheres and processes them and enables Global to sell the
recovered chemicals. Management believes that several markets exist
for such technology, especially in high population density areas or
where physical barriers exist to the recirculation of air. Zurich,
Mexico City, Beijing, Shanghai and Los Angeles are but a few of the
major cities with moderate to severe smog problems.
In a recent congressional hearing on clean air initiatives Gina
McCarthy, Assistant Administrator for the Office of Air and
Radiation, EPA, highlighted that reducing smog and air pollution
has been an American prerogative since 1989, spanning four
presidents, two democrats and two republicans. Furthermore, she
cites figures which provide provocative evidence as to why smog
producing cities like Houston and Los Angeles need to make
significant efforts to clean the air.
She referenced the impact on children, the elderly, and those
who suffer from chronic respiratory disease and asthma. She ran
down the stats of what would be eliminated with the implementation
of the Mercury and Air Toxics Standards:
- 17,000 premature deaths
- 11,000 heart attacks
- 120,000 cases of childhood asthma symptoms
- 11,000 cases of acute bronchitis among children
- 12,000 emergency room visits and hospital admissions
- 850,000 days of work missed due to illness
Terry Tecco, CEO of Global Holdings, Inc., states, "This
technology has limitless applications in some of the largest cities
in the world. We are proud to be part of a global initiative to
reduce air pollution and improve the quality of life for people
worldwide."
