PITTSBURGH, July 19,
2024 /PRNewswire/ -- "We wanted to create a new chair
to assist individuals with various mobility issues when standing,"
said one of two inventors, from Reidsville, N.C., "so we
invented THE LIFT ASSIST CHAIR. Our design would offer an improved
alternative to conventional recliner lift chairs."
The invention provides an improved chair to help a person rise
from a seated position. In doing so, it eliminates the need for
assistance from caregivers or health care workers. As a result, it
could reduce strain and the risk of injury. It also could increase
mobility, comfort and independence. The invention features a
practical design that is easy to use so it is ideal for individuals
including anyone who experiences hip, leg, or joint pain; arthritis
sufferers; elderly individuals; and anyone who has various physical
disabilities. This practical and convenient design may be employed
through a home or nursing home as well as hospital waiting rooms
and lobbies. Additionally, a prototype model is available upon
request.
The original design was submitted to the Richmond sales office of InventHelp. It is
currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or
marketers. For more information, write Dept. 22-RKH-635,
