WASHINGTON, July 3, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- According to
the Corporate Whistleblower Center, "In our book there are few
things lower than a healthcare company gouging Medicare or Medicaid
with bills for medically unnecessary treatments for drug addicts or
for people who are mentally ill. If you work for a drug treatment
center or a company providing mental health services and you can
prove your employer is ripping off Medicare or Medicaid please call
us at 866-714-6466 so we can discuss the potential whistleblower
reward value of your information. It is worth your time to talk to
us if you have this type of information. Recently a whistleblower
received $300,000 for this type of
information." http://CorporateWhistleblower.Com
On June 5th, 2018 the Justice
Department announced a post-acute healthcare management firm agreed
to pay more than $1.7 million to
resolve False Claims Act allegations they caused other hospitals to
submit, claims for reimbursement from Medicare for services that
were not medically reasonable or necessary. The Justice Department
alleged the healthcare management firm's individual
patients progress was not being adequately tracked or
documented, the patients received an inappropriate level of
treatment, and the therapy provided was primarily recreational or
diversional, and was not considered therapeutic. A former employee
received $300,000 for exposing these
practices.
The Corporate Whistleblower Center would like to hear from
healthcare workers about possible rewards if they have proof of the
following types of information:
- A drug rehab center admits drug addicts who have Medicaid or
Medicare, the center provides no treatment for their patients aside
from a place to sleep and eat, yet the center bills Medicaid or
Medicare the maximum amount possible including for treatment or
counseling services that never happened.
- A mental healthcare provider signs up Medicaid or Medicare
patients for mental health services but essentially provides no
services aside from a secure place to stay and eat. As soon as the
Medicaid or Medicare benefits run out the mental healthcare
provider discharges their patients-no services outside of food or
shelter were ever given.
The Corporate Whistleblower Center says, "We are incredibly
serious about healthcare workers getting rewarded if they have
proof their employer is involved in substantial Medicare, or
Medicaid overbilling. If you possess this type of information,
please give us a call at 866-714-6466 and let's have a confidential
conversation about the potential value of your information. Why sit
on a potentially huge winning lotto ticket without ever knowing
what it might be worth?" http://CorporateWhistleblower.Com
Simple rules for a whistleblower from the Corporate
Whistleblower Center: Do not go to the government first if you
are a major whistleblower. The Corporate Whistleblower Center says,
"Major whistleblowers frequently go to the government thinking they
will help. It's a huge mistake. Do not go to the news media with
your whistleblower information. Public revelation of a
whistleblower's information could destroy any prospect for a
reward. Do not try to force a company or individual to come clean
stark on anti-kickback laws or overbilling Medicare. Come to
us first, tell us what type of information you have, and if we
think it's sufficient, we will help find the right law firms to
assist in advancing your
information." http://CorporateWhistleblower.Com
