NEW YORK, March 5 /PRNewswire/ -- AXA Equitable Life Insurance Co. announced today that Adrienne Johnson-Guider has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Head of the Strategic Initiatives Group. She reports to Christopher M. "Kip" Condron, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of AXA Equitable, the primary U.S. life insurance and savings subsidiary of the global AXA Group. In this key role, Ms. Johnson-Guider is responsible for leading the Strategic Initiatives Group in creating and implementing new ideas and strategies that accelerate revenue growth and profitability for the company. The Strategic Initiatives Group takes on a variety of projects touching nearly every area of the company and driving performance on key metrics for AXA Equitable. Prior to running the Strategic Initiatives Group, Ms. Johnson-Guider served as Vice President and Chief of Staff in the Office of the CEO, driving strategic and tactical programs addressing a range of global and local issues. Her previous roles at AXA Equitable include serving as Vice President of Marketing and Product Development, where she led the brand transition from the Equitable Life Assurance Society to the AXA brand.
