Appointment of the Chairman


The Board of Directors of Worldsec Limited announces that

Mr. Alastair Gunn-Forbes, the Non-Executive director of the Company, has been
appointed as the Non-Executive Chairman of the Company with effect from 25th
July 2006.

The Board would like to express their thanks to both the retiring Chairman Mr.
David Lyle and the retiring Finance Director Mr. Paul Kwok Kin Cheng for their
untiring efforts over the past several years.
