                     ("West China Cement" or the "Company") 
                              Exercise of Options 
                                  9 March 2010 
 
West China Cement was notified on 8 March 2010 that Robert Sinclair Robertson, 
Chairman of the Company, exercised an option on 8 March 2010 to acquire 636,883 
ordinary shares of 10 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") at 105 pence per share. 
Following these transactions, Mr. Robertson holds no further options in the 
Company. 
 
In addition, on 8 March 2010, West China Cement was notified that Brett Lance 
Miller, non-executive director of the Company, exercised an option on 8 March 
2010 to acquire 159,221 ordinary shares of 10 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") at 
105 pence per share. Following these transactions, Mr. Miller holds no further 
options in the Company. 
 
Application will shortly be made for the 796,104 Ordinary Shares to be admitted 
to AIM, with trading expected to commence on 16 March 2010 ("Admission"). Upon 
Admission, the shares will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing 
Ordinary Shares of the Company. 
 
After admission of these new shares, the Company will have 65,658,237 Ordinary 
Shares in issue.
