                            MAJOR INTEREST IN SHARES

On 15 February 2007, Virotec International plc (the "Company") (AIM: VTI)
received notification as required by Section DTR5 of the FSA's Disclosure &
Transparency Rules, in relation to holdings in the Company of entities owned or
