Versarien plc (AIM: VRS), the advanced materials engineering group, announces that Neill Ricketts, the Company's Chief Executive Officer, has notified the Company that on 21 January 2021 he sold 1,650,000 ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares"), at a price of 53.919 pence per Ordinary Share pursuant to a financial commitment related to his divorce settlement.

Following this transaction, further detailed in the disclosure table below, Mr Ricketts' interest in the share capital of the Company is now 13,600,000 Ordinary Shares, representing 7.16 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital. Mr Ricketts is further interested in 2,626,614 options exercisable at 15 pence per share, 742,790 options exercisable at 29 pence per share and 2,669,616 options exercisable at 152 pence per share.
