Vision Opportunity China Fund Limited (AIM: VOC.L), the closed-ended fund traded on AIM that invests in companies with operations principally within Greater China, is pleased to announce that at the EGM held today at Sarnia House, Le Truchot, St Peter Port, Guernsey at 09:30am the special resolution was passed with the following votes cast:

Following the approval of the special resolution to cancel the admission of the Company's ordinary shares to trading on AIM (the "Cancellation"), it is expected that the Cancellation will take effect from 7.00am on Wednesday, 1 August 2012.
