Additional listing and Directors interests

12,893 ordinary shares of 5p in Vanco plc have today been issued following the
exercise of options pursuant to the Vanco sharesave plan approved by
shareholders on 7 June 2004. Application has been made for the new shares to be
admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the
London Stock Exchange. These shares will rank pari passu with the existing
ordinary shares.

Following this issue, the total number of ordinary shares in issue will be
63,927,592.

Admission of the new shares and commencement of dealings is expected to take
place on 9th October 2007.

Of the ordinary shares issued today, 3,792 were issued to Mark Thompson, a
Director of Vanco plc who notified the Company on the 3rd October 2007 of his
interest in the ordinary shares as set out below.
