Uranium Resources was notified on 3 August 2010 that due to the increase in the 
Company's issued share capital following the issue of the Placing Shares, 
announced on 23 June 2010, Geiger Counter Limited continues to be interested in 
41,300,000 ordinary shares in the Company, which now represents approximately 
9.25% of the total issued share capital of the Company.

announcement made by the Company on 23 June 2010.
