Taylor Woodrow plc announces that Mr. Colin J. Parsons has retired as a
Director and Chairman of the company and has been succeeded as Chairman by Dr.
Robert Hawley.  This change took effect immediately following the conclusion
of the company's annual general meeting held earlier today.

At the annual general meeting all six resolutions of ordinary business and the
four resolutions comprising special business of the meeting were carried
unanimously on a show of hands.
