Taylor Woodrow QUEST Trustee Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary, purchased on
the market 1,352,735 ordinary shares of 25p of the Company at a price of
179.5p per share.

The shares have been acquired to meet outstanding options granted under the
Taylor Woodrow Savings-Related Share Option Scheme.
