TOTAL SYSTEMS plc: CONTRACT GAIN
Total Systems plc ("Total"), suppliers of established software products and
services to the Financial Services markets, is pleased to announce a major new
contract gain with Navigators & General Insurance Company Limited ("Navigators
& General"). Navigators & General, based in Brighton, is part of Zurich
Insurance Company, one of the world's leading insurance companies. Navigators
& General has chosen ULTIMA, Total's Insurance System product, to handle their
growing and highly respected Yachts, Small Craft and Commercial business, both
domestically and globally.
Total was chosen by Navigators & General on account of its system's greater
functionality, flexibility, Internet capability and the speed with which
ULTIMA allows the end users to quickly handle changes and launch new products
in a cost effective manner. ULTIMA can support handling high volumes whilst
allowing them to improve business and IT efficiency.
Commenting on the new contract, Granville Harris, Total's Finance Director,
said: "This is an excellent contract win for Total Systems as it provides
another well-known client who are part of a successful global insurance
organisation. It was secured against intense competition and demonstrates yet
again how effective our ULTIMA system is, proving that it is becoming a
product of first choice for many of those companies committed to running cost
effective open systems. We are confident that others in the global insurance
market will follow Navigators & General's lead in the coming months."
