Drings of Bath PLC are pleased to announce that as of today, 27 March 1998
they have appointed Mr Chris Andrew Jones as Finance Director of Drings of
Bath PLC.

Aged 39, Mr Jones has not held any directorships in the last five years.  He
has no unspent convictions in relation to indictable offences, has not been
declared bankrupt, nor has he been a director of any company which during his
time as director or, within 12 months following his resignation as a director
has gone into receivership or liquidation, nor has he been subject to any
public criticisms by statutory or regulatory bodies.

Mr Jones is the beneficial owner 150,000 Ordinary Shares and has been granted
options over a further 959,375 shares exercisable after 3 years from 5
September 1997 and within 7 years.
