Senior Management Appointment
TEG Environmental Plc ("TEG" or "the Company"), the leading edge green
technology company which converts organic wastes into natural organic
fertilizer, which listed on AIM in July 2004, announces it has appointed Angela
Cronje as Technical Manager. She will be based at TEG's head office in Preston
and will work with and assist Dr. Alan Heyworth as a key member of the
scientific and technical team.
Dr Angela Cronje, aged 28, received her PhD in Chemical Engineering from the
University of Birmingham in 2004 after four years of research on ammonia
emissions and pathogen inactivation during the controlled composting of pig
manure whilst based at Silsoe Research Institute. Angela's scientific papers
have been published in: The proceedings of the 2002 International Symposium on
Composting and Compost Utilization, Compost Science & Utilization and
Environmental Technology. For her undergraduate degree, Angela read Chemical
Engineering with Environmental Management at the University of Birmingham and
received a Master of Engineering in 1998. She studied the third year of this
degree at the University Complutense of Madrid.
Commenting on the appointment, chief executive of TEG Environmental Plc, Dick
Bilborough, said: "This is the first Senior Appointment we have made since our
admission to AiM earlier this year. I am delighted that Angela has accepted.
Angela brings extensive knowledge to the sector and I am confident that she will
be a valuable member of the company's strong scientific and technical team."
