The following notification was received today from Hill Samuel Asset
Management Ltd: 

We refer to our letter dated 7th June 2000 in which we advised you of an
interest in the ordinary shares of the above mentioned company. Although
that notification gave the correct number of shares under our management, it
did not distinguish between 'material' and 'non-material' interests. To
clarify the position, we write further to advise you that we do not have an
interest which represents more than 10% of the relevant share capital and we
do not have a material interest which represents more than 3% of the relevant
share capital. Our interest in these shares does not therefore constitute a
notifiable interest for the purposes of Part VI of the Companies Act 1985.
