SPG Media Group plc was informed that on 4 July 2005 Mr Steve Nicholson, Chief
Executive, purchased 150,000 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 7.5
pence per share.  Following this transaction Mr Nicholson is now interested in
932,630 ordinary shares, representing approximately 1.08 per cent. of the issued
share capital of the Company.
