Change of Accounting Reference Date

Stanley Gibbons announces a change to its accounting reference date and financial year end from 31 December to 31 March.

As part of the integration of Stanley Gibbons with the recently acquired Noble Investments (UK) plc ("Noble"), the board of Stanley Gibbons (the "Board") has undertaken a review of the appropriate year end for the enlarged group. Currently the Stanley Gibbons year end is 31 December and the Noble year end is 31 August. Having considered the seasonality of the enlarged group's revenue profiles, the Board feels that moving the financial year end of the enlarged group to 31 March will provide management with an improved level of visibility of the performance of the group throughout the financial calendar.

As a result of this change, the Company's near-term reporting calendar will be as follows:

- Unaudited results for the 6 month period to 31 December 2013 to be announced by the end of March 2014

- Audited results for the 15 month period to 31 March 2014 to be announced by the end of June 2014.

- Unaudited results for the 6 month period to 30 September 2014 to be announced by the end of November 2014.
