RENN UNIVERSAL GROWTH INVESTMENT TRUST PLC (the "Company")

The Company was notified on 2 April 2014 that Mr Ernest Fenton, a non-executive
Director and Chairman of the Company, sold 18,641 Ordinary shares at the Tender
Price of 297.0036 pence per share as part of the Company's recent Tender Offer.

Following this transaction, Mr Fenton is now interested in a total of 31,359
Ordinary shares of the Company (representing 0.24% of the total voting rights).
