"The Company announced on the 12 May 2000 that one of its foreign associated
companies  had been in a dispute with the tax authorities in the country where
it does business. The dispute led to a freezing of the bank accounts of the
Company in that country. This dispute has now been satisfactorily resolved and
the bank accounts have been unfrozen. It has been acknowledged that in fact
the tax authorities owe money to the associated company."
