Cool-AirTM packaging product wins three Starpack Awards

Robinson plc ("Robinson" or "the Company"; stock code: RBN), the custom
manufacturer of paperboard and plastic packaging for the food, drinks and
personal care markets, is pleased to announce that its subsidiary, Robinson
Paperboard Packaging, has won three Starpack Awards for its Cool-AirTM product,
including the Gold Star Award for Best Innovative Pack.

Robinson was also awarded two Silver Star Awards for Best Consumer Convenience
Packaging and Best Consumer Pack, both for the Cool-AirTM product. The Starpack
Awards, presented annually by the Institute of Packaging (IoP), are now in their
47th year and 2006 entries were at an all time high of 309, with 867 individual
category entries.

Cool-AirTM was launched in the summer of 2005 in association with Robinson's
customer, Brown-Forman, who used the highly innovative packaging for their Syrah
Rose (Fetzer) brand of wines in a key promotion at Sainsbury's across the UK. It
was also rolled-out by Brown-Forman in North America in 2006. Commenting on
Robinson's achievement, the Starpack judges hailed the Cool-AirTM design as "a
packaging development for which the world has been waiting - never again will it
be necessary to turn up as a guest with a warm bottle of white wine."

Robinson recognises the importance of innovation in a highly competitive
environment. The Cool-AirTM pack was developed by Robinson's in-house creative
team and independently tested by Sheffield Hallam University's Packaging
Partnership. Made from recycled paperboard, it can be re-used after purchase
and comes in a variety of sizes.

Jon Marx, Chief Executive of Robinson plc, commented: "I am delighted that our
ongoing commitment to innovation and consumer convenience has been recognised by
the IoP. Robinson prides itself in delivering greater customer satisfaction and
cementing our relationships with our blue chip customer base by developing
bespoke, innovative packaging solutions."

About the Institute of Packaging

The Institute of Packaging (IoP), which was the oldest and most distinguished
institute for the packaging profession, merged in April 2005 with the Institute
of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IOM3). The merger combined the experience and
expertise of the IoP with the strength and breadth of the IOM3, to form a
powerful force in the ever-changing world of packaging. As part of IOM3, the IoP
is retaining much of its previous identity and all of its services and functions
for the benefit of its members and the packaging industry in general. Through
the continuing use of "IoP" in its title, the new organisation is proclaiming to
the wider world that it will continue in the best tradition to be a high profile
voice for packaging.
