The Rathbone Savings Related Share Option Plan 
 
On 29 March 2012, options over Rathbone Brothers Plc ordinary shares of 5p were 
granted with an exercise price of  GBP9.84 in accordance with the rules of the H.M. 
Revenue and Customs approved Rathbone Savings Related Share Option Plan 2009 
(the Plan). The option exercise price of  GBP9.84 is the closing mid-market price 
on 6 March 2012 ( GBP12.30), less a 20% discount. 
 
304 options  were granted to a PDMR, Brian Kenny. Options are exercisable at the 
end  of a  five year  savings contract  commencing on 1 May 2012. Following this 
notification, Mr Kenny has options over 1,211 shares in the Plan.
