    Declaration of final dividend 


    The Board of Phoenix is pleased to announce that a final dividend of 3.65p per share will be paid on 1 October 2008 to Phoenix
shareholders on the register on 12 September 2008. The total dividend for the year (including the interim dividend paid on 30 January 2008)
represents a 15% increase on the total dividend paid in respect of the financial year ended 31 March 2007.
