Following discussions with the Irish Stock Exchange, the company has concluded
that it is unlikely to be able to satisfy the exchange's requirements in
relation to a re-listing of its shares.

On this basis, the company has requested, and the Irish Stock Exchange has
agreed that its listing be cancelled with effect from 30 October 1998.
