Equatorial Palm Oil plc (AIM: PAL), the AIM listed and Liberia focussed sustainable palm oil plantation developer, announces that Michael Frayne, Executive Chairman, purchased 101,863 ordinary shares of 1 pence in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") in the market on 6 October 2011, at a price of 11.18 pence per Ordinary Share. The shares were purchased through Adelise Services Limited, a company held by a trust of which Michael Frayne is a beneficiary.

Following the purchase of shares, Michael Frayne's beneficial interest in the Company's shares is 6,595,948 ordinary shares, representing 5.28 per cent. of the issued ordinary share capital and total voting rights of the Company.
