                   Issue of Equity - Replacement Announcement


This announcement replaces the Issue of Equity announcement released at 07:02am
on 30 April 2008, RNS number 3889T. The number of new ordinary shares, in the
first paragraph, should have read 10,266,667 instead of 10,266,666 - the full
announcement text appears below.



                                Issue of Equity



The Company has placed 10,266,667 new ordinary shares in Ovidia of 0.1p each 
(the "Shares") at 0.75p per Share to raise #77,000.


In addition, the Company has issued 5,333,333 Shares in satisfaction of a debt
owned to Aspartus PLC.


Nigel Weller, a Director of Ovidia, is also a director of Aspartus PLC and
accordingly the issue of shares to Aspartus PLC is a "related party" transaction
under the AIM Rules. The independent Director of Ovidia, Beata Xenophontes,
having consulted with the Nominated Adviser, considers the terms of this
transaction are fair and reasonable insofar as its shareholders are concerned.


Application will be made for the new ordinary shares, which will rank, pari
passu, with all existing ordinary shares to be admitted to trading on AIM.
