FreeFaucet.io experiences strong growth as incentivisation model
captures crypto market
- cryptocurrency hub hits 100,000 users and key global web
rankings milestone -
Online Blockchain plc ( LSE:OBC ) reports further advancement of
FreeFaucet.io, one of its cryptocurrency and blockchain
properties.
The crypto asset claiming website ( www.freefaucet.io ), from
the UK's leading listed blockchain company, has surpassed 100,000
users and entered the top 10,000 global sites on foremost traffic
rankings site Alexa within 18 months of its beta launch.
FreeFaucet.io, which is acclaimed for its high-paying and
innovative cryptocurrency faucets, has seen an accelerated increase
in users with an average of 1500 new registrations per week (up
from 1000 per week at the start of 2020). Its PTC "Paid to Click"
advert faucets are receiving particularly high traffic. PTC Faucets
are a pioneering tool for marketers who wish to directly promote
projects to an engaged, tech-savvy audience. Users of the
cryptocurrency hub are rewarded with Bitcoin for clicking a PTC
Faucet and engaging with the featured website for a short,
specified period of time.
In addition to PTC Faucets, there are many other ways users of
the site can claim an array of crypto assets for free. These range
from simply clicking a button/completing a CAPTCHA or participating
in a survey through to playing online games, taking out a free
trial of Amazon Prime Video or signing up to snack subscription
service GRAZE.
"FreeFaucet's business model is predominantly based on
advertising revenue. However, it is unique in that it reverses the
thermodynamics of money by giving revenue from its advertisers back
to its users," said Clem Chambers, CEO of Online Blockchain plc.
"Media consumers are starting to be viewed as the ultimate asset
and beginning to be paid accordingly. FreeFaucet.io is at the
forefront of this new wave of content incentivisation, which is
evident from the site's growth to date."
