Druid Group plc has been advised, on 11 November 1999, that Norwich Union plc
and its subsidiary companies have recently reduced their holding of ordinary 10p
shares in the company by 270,000.  As a result their aggregate holding has
fallen below the reportable 3% material interest threshold so that after this
transaction Norwich Union plc and its subsidiary companies held 443,958 ordinary
10p shares representing 1.90% Druid Group Plc's current issued ordinary share
capital of 23,380,871.
