   PORTFOLIO UPDATE 
 
   Further to the announcement made on 17 December 2013, Northern 2 VCT PLC 
("Northern 2 VCT") confirms that the sale of its investment in Denara 
Holdings Limited ("Denara") to Nasstar plc ("Nasstar") was duly 
completed on 10 January 2014. 
 
   Northern 2 VCT has received total consideration of GBP1.54 million for 
its holding of ordinary shares in Denara, comprising GBP1.15 million in 
cash and 7,787,902 new ordinary shares of 1p in Nasstar with a value (at 
the deemed issue price of 5p per share) of GBP0.39 million.
