The Company was notified, by Canada Life Limited on 27 January 2006 that,
following the recent placing of new ordinary shares of 5 pence each in the
Company ("Ordinary Shares"), the Canada Life Group of Companies has a notifiable
interest in 5,700,000 Ordinary Shares representing approximately 3.42 per cent.
of the Company's issued ordinary share capital.
