  Newport breaks into the Korean Market with Teletron Distribution Agreement.


Chepstow, UK. 14th October, 2005. Newport Networks, the developer of
carrier-class Session Border Controllers, has signed a distribution agreement
with Teletron of Korea to attack the booming South Korean broadband service
provider market.

As part of the agreement Teletron has ordered a system for trials in the fast
growing Korean service provider community. The Newport Networks 1460 provides
the industry's most future proof session border controller solution, with
industry leading performance, scalability, resilience and investment protection.
