Nord Anglia Announces Acquisition of Yorkshire Post Training

Group strengthens foothold in learning skills market

Nord Anglia Education PLC ('Nord Anglia' or 'the Group'), the specialist
provider of education and related educational services, has acquired the
Leeds-based skills training provider Yorkshire Post Training (YPT) with minimal
assets.

The integration of the business, which has a turnover of approximately #800,000,
into Nord Anglia's current training businesses will allow the Group to
accelerate its development in the fast-growing learning skills market while
maximising the synergies between its existing activities and the acquired
business.

YPT currently delivers skills and workforce development training to both the
public and private sectors. There are substantial ongoing contracts with the
Learning and Skills Council (LSC) and the company undertakes sub-contract work
for Colleges of Further Education. Short courses in workforce development are
also delivered to business customers.

YPT will become part of Nord Anglia's Lifetime Careers subsidiary group within
the Group's Outsourcing Division. It will join a portfolio of compatible
services including: career management and development, on-line learning, short
courses, professional development, training, conferences, publications and
learning resources.

Andrew Fitzmaurice, Chief Executive of Nord Anglia commented: "The acquisition
of Yorkshire Post Training presents Nord Anglia with the opportunity to develop
an established business that is well positioned in a buoyant market.

"The Government recognises the need for quality workforce development training
driven by factors such as the requirements of new technology in the workplace
and the need for basic skills training. It has stated its commitment to
improving the quality and range of training and personal development for all
learners.

"By strengthening our training portfolio, Nord Anglia is favourably placed to
take advantage of the opportunities this policy is bringing."

Trevor Mason, Chief Executive of Lifetime Careers Yorkshire added: "The
acquisition of YPT is an exciting new opportunity. We already deliver a range of
contracts on behalf of the LSC and work extensively with private sector
businesses. This will enable us to extend our service range and make an even
greater contribution to the new agenda for skills."

Notes to editors:

The Learning and Skills Council (LSC) is the lead planning body for post-16
education and skills in England. Accountable to the DfES, it operates through 47
local arms and is responsible for over #5bn of public funding.
