Gaithersburg, Maryland - 10 August 2021: MaxCyte (Nasdaq: MXCT)
(LSE: MXCT, MXCN) , a leading provider of cell-engineering platform
technologies, announces that on 9 August 2021, options of common
stock in the Company ("Common Stock") were granted equally to all
Company employees, including 100,000 options granted to PDMRs who
are directors or officers of the Company ("PDMR Option Grants").
Details of the PDMR Option Grants are given below:

All option grants vest over 4 years. 1/4(th) of the grants vest
1 year following the date of the grant, with the remainder of the
options vesting ratably monthly in 36 monthly installments
thereafter. The options have an exercise period of 10 years from
date of grant, at which time they will expire, and have an exercise
price equal to the closing price of MaxCyte's stock on 9 August
2021, of $16.63
