 Orange County Transportation Authority Selects March Networks for Mobile Video
                              and Managed Services


OTTAWA, ONTARIO, May 25, 2006 -- March Networks(TM) (TSX:MN; AIM:MNW), a leading
provider of Internet Protocol (IP)-based digital video surveillance solutions,
announced today that the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA), one of
California's largest transit authorities, has selected March Networks for
advanced mobile video surveillance and managed video network services.


Chosen America's number one transportation system in 2005 by the American Public
Transportation Association, the OCTA provides bus and paratransit services
throughout the county.


The March Networks mobile solution will be deployed to combat vandalism, ensure
the safety of passengers and drivers, and help optimize overall customer service
and satisfaction.


March Networks was selected from a group of five finalists following an
extensive evaluation process. Important features from March Networks included
enterprise-wide video network management software, support for integral
automated wireless download of video, and a unique managed service offering.
These features assist in the management and maintenance of large deployments,
alleviate the need for manual system and evidence management, and dramatically
reduce total cost of ownership.


In awarding the business to March Networks the OCTA stated, "The on-board video
