The Company received a notification dated 4 September 2006 from Barclays PLC
informing it that, as at 1 September 2006, Barclays PLC (through its legal
entities Barclays Life Assurance Company Limited, Barclays Global Investors
Limited, and Barclays Capital Securities Limited) had a total interest in
10,802,040 ordinary shares representing 3.99% of the issued share capital of the
Company.
