Medgenics, Inc. (AIM: MEDG, MEDU), the company that has developed a novel technology for the manufacture and delivery of therapeutic proteins continuously in patients using their own tissue, announces that it has applied for the admission of 28 common shares of par value of US $0.0001 each ("Common Shares") to AIM as a result of rounding differences in the reverse stock split which was effected on 21 February 2011, these Common Shares are expected to commence trading on AIM on the MEDG line at 8.00 am on 2 March 2011. The Company also announces the transfer of 1,195,307 Common Shares which are currently traded on the MEDG line (ISIN USU582411158) to the MEDU line (ISIN US58436Q2030), following the removal of the restrictive legends from certain share certificates in accordance with applicable U.S. securities laws.

Following this application and the transfer (and the 1 for 35 reverse stock split as effected on 21 February 2011), the Company will have 5,387,485 Common Shares in issue, with 2,936,745 Common Shares trading on the MEDG line and 2,450,740 Common Shares trading on the MEDU line.
