Result of General Meeting and Appointment of Nomad and Broker

Mercom is pleased to announce that at its General Meeting held at 11.00am today all resolutions were duly passed.

As a result the Company's name change to Monchhichi plc takes effect later today while the Company's existing TIDM remains as MCC.L. The Company's new website goes live today at www.monchhichi.life.

The new investing policy in the Technology, Media and Internet ("TMI") sectors takes immediate effect as does the appointment of Panmure Gordon as the Company's Nominated Adviser and Broker.

Pursuant to the terms of the deferred share buyback approved by Resolution 3 at the General Meeting, the Company has issued one ordinary share for cash and utilised the proceeds in buying back all of the outstanding deferred shares. The Company will now proceed to make an application to the High Court to approve the capital reduction approved by shareholders pursuant to Resolution 4 at the General Meeting.

Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for the admission to trading of one new ordinary share. It is expected that admission will become effective on 30 January 2017.

The Company's share capital consists of 37,401,774 ordinary shares with voting rights. The Company does not hold any ordinary shares in treasury. Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 37,401,774. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
