PURCHASE OF OWN SHARES & TOTAL VOTING RIGHTS

Luminar plc announces that it has today purchased for cancellation 40,000
ordinary shares of 200p each at an average price of 619.6401p per share. The
highest price paid was 621.5p and the lowest price paid was 618.5p

Following today's purchase the capital of the Company consists of 61,379,804
ordinary shares with voting rights. The Company does not hold any shares in
Treasury.

Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 61,379,804.
