      Kenwood combines UK sales and marketing roles

Kenwood  Appliances  plc, the kitchen appliance  company,
announced today that it was promoting the Group Marketing
Director,  Adam  Formela to take  responsibility  for  UK
sales  in  addition to his current role.   The  new  role
remains  a  Board level appointment.  He  replaces  Peter
Hotston  who  will leave the company at the end  of  this
month.

Adam  Formela,  37, joined Kenwood in October  1997  from
Electrolux  where he was UK Managing Director for  vacuum
cleaners  and  white goods.  Prior to this  he  spent  10
years  at  Black and Decker in various senior  sales  and
marketing roles including European Marketing Director.

Colin Gordon, Chief Executive, said: "The combination  of
the  UK  sales and marketing roles under Adam  will  give
greater  focus to our UK selling operation and is another
step  in  our programme of transforming Kenwood  into  an
agile brand led company."
