KIMBERLEY DIAMOND COMPANY NL (the Company) (AIM: KDC)

The Company hereby advises that it has received a notice of ceasing to be a
substantial holder from MM&E Capital Pty Ltd (MM&E).

MM&E has reduced its holding in the Company from 35,091,583 shares (8.2%) to
15,347,733 having sold 19,743,850 shares on market for $13,327,098.75.
