We announce the retirement of Mr. Dennis Thoy as a director of the Company owing
to ill health.

Mr. Thoy's retirement will take effect from 30 September 2008.  He has served as
a  non-executive  director  on  the board of the Company  since  its  launch  in
November  2004 as well as on the board of its predecessor, Jupiter  Split  Trust
PLC.

On  behalf of the board, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Thoy
for  his enormous contribution over the ten years that he has served the Company
and its predecessor.  We wish Mr. Thoy well in his future endeavours.
