    Jupiter Second Split Trust PLC (`the Company') received notification from Mr
Harry Hill, a director of the Company, that he has sold 200,000 Geared Growth
shares on 9 May 2008 at 0.555p per share.  Following this transaction Mr Hill
holds a total of 336,369 Geared Growth shares and 11,749 Zero Dividend shares
representing 0.18% of the total voting rights in the Company.

There are 95,904,683 Geared Growth shares and 95,904,683 Zero Dividend
Preference shares in issue.  On a poll each Geared Income share carries one vote
and each Zero Dividend Preference share carries one vote.  The Packaged Units
consist of one Geared Income share and one Zero Dividend Preference share.
