Investika Ltd ('the Company'), the investment company in the mining finance
industry with a focus on pre-production emerging resource opportunities,
announces it has issued 500,000 fully paid Ordinary Shares at a price of Aus
$4.00 per share as consideration for the acquisition of 2.4 million shares in
UMC Energy plc.


The new Ordinary Shares will rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary Shares
in the Company and trading of these shares on AIM is expected to commence on 2
March 2007.


The total number of Ordinary Shares in issue following this issue of equity is
14,034,709.
