      Free float weightings of eligible companies to the FTSE UK Indices.

Further to the press notice issued on 30 May 2000, the FTSE Equity Indices
Committee additionally announces the investibility weightings of the
following monitored UK companies.  These companies will be considered for
eligibility for inclusion to the FTSE UK Indices at the next quarterly
review on 7 June 2000:

Please note that at the quarterly review, these companies will be allocated
to the appropriate index based on their full market capitalisations, with
the investibility weightings applied thereafter.  Confirmation of all
constituent changes to the FTSE UK indices will be announced after market
close on 7 June 2000 accordingly.
