    IFR Capital Plc ("IFR" or the "Company") (AIM: IFR) is pleased to
    announce that Volkhard Otto Mett (aged 54) was appointed as non-
    executive director at its Board meeting today. His appointment is
    expected to be registered in Cyprus shortly. 

    Mr Mett is currently a member of the Supervisory Board and the
    Advisory Board of Nordsee GmbH and Homann Chilled Food GmbH. Apart
    from those companies set out below, Mr Mett has not held any other
    directorships or partnerships within the last five years.

    Mr media & service AG
    Mr einkauf & service AG

    Former directorships:
    Unternehmensgruppe Theo Mr GmbH & Co. KG

    As of the date of this announcement Volkhard Mett is interested in
    135,000 ordinary shares representing approximately 0.06 per cent. of
    the Company's issued share capital.

    No further disclosures are required under Schedule 2 paragraph (g) of
    the AIM Rules.
