    HANDMADE FILMS SELLS U.K. DISTRIBUTION RIGHTS FOR 'ELOISE IN PARIS' TO ENTERTAINMENT FILMS


    HandMade Plc (HMF.L), the rights ownership, film production, merchandising and licensing company, is pleased to announce that it has
pre-sold the UK distribution rights for its new feature film "Eloise in Paris" starring Uma Thurman and newcomer Jordana Beatty to
Entertainment Films, the leading UK theatrical and DVD distributor. 

    Commenting on this announcement, David Ravden, Chief Executive Officer of HandMade plc, said: "We are delighted to be announcing this
exciting news whilst we are in Cannes.  Entertainment Films is one of the most successful international film distributors and is known for
its marketing skills in releasing many major films including The Lord of the Rings film trilogy, The Golden Compass and Sex and the City,
which is coming to the big screen in a feature film adaptation of the hit HBO television series. This important deal with Entertainment
Films gives Eloise in Paris the potential to generate in excess of $50M at the UK box office."

    HandMade Films International Chairman, Guy Collins, also said: "Licensing the first of the major worldwide territories on the film to
Entertainment sets the bar at a very high level. We are delighted to continue our relationship with Entertainment on this film which forms
the cornerstone of HandMade's business."

    Based on the classic Eloise books written by Kay Thompson and illustrated by Hilary Knight, the Eloise in Paris film will be directed by
Charles Shyer (director Father of the Bride, Part II, Oscar®-nominated writer and producer Private Benjamin and The Parent Trap, and writer
and director of Baby Boom) who co-wrote the script with his daughter Hallie Meyers-Shyer, and Larry Spencer.

    Oscar-nominated actress Uma Thurman (Kill Bill, Dangerous Liaisons) will play the leading role of 'Nanny', Jordana Beatty will play
'Eloise' and young French actor Marcus Vigneron Coudroy will play Eloise's Parisian friend 'Name'. The film will be produced by HandMade
Films' Patrick Meehan, Thomas D. Adelman and Ron Rotholz, and Executive Produced by Charles Shyer.
